Hyundai Elantra gets 2010 Buzz Awards
Unlike last year, that Buzz Award nominations are dominated by luxury vehicles. This year's "most buzzed" automotive list is dominated by economical cars. Luxury brands, including Mercedes-Benz and Lexus, have been replaced by vehicles from Hyundai and Volkswagen.
Topping the list is the Hyundai Elantra compact sedan and hitting the charts at number four is another economical vehicle from the Korean automaker; the Accent. The automotive brand of the year list, included in Zeta Interactive's 2010 Buzz Awards, hints that car buyers in the U.S. display a significant interest in autos that offer the most "bang for your buck.
Hyundai was one of only two brands to have a pair of vehicles make it into the top ten. The Honda Accord ranked second and the automaker's compact Civic came in ninth. Surprisingly, only one light truck made Zeta's list; the Kia Sorento.
