2011 BMW i8 Concept at the Frankfurt Motor Show

Together BMW i8 Concept and i3 Concept offers eco-friendly system to public at the 64th Frankfurt Motor Show. The BMW i8 Concept planing will enter production in 2013. The gasoline unit drives the rear wheels through a dual clutch transmission, while the electric motor uses a twin-speed transmission to motivate the front wheels.
