2013 Lexus GS

A little late to talk about the new Lexus GS, but not too late I guess. The car more engaging driving experience, bolder design and a more spacious, contemporary interior. Based on the Lexus LF-Gh concept, the new Lexus GS features much bolder lines that its predecessor. According the Japanesse Company, Lexus GS production will start in December and arrive in showroom in February.


The new Lexus GS bring an air of confidence by a redesigned chassis with a wide, strong stance that clearly signals the new Lexus GS is designed to inspire and reward driver participation with crisp and precise handling. Also key highlights include a prominent trapezoidal grille that the company says will be a trademark of all future models, deep-set headlamps with L-shaped LED daytime running lights and an aerodynamic body that brings to mind the smaller IS.

Lexus GS also added the suspension update, which features aluminum upper, and lower control arms for reduced unsprung weight and an updated rear subframe that supports a new multilink suspension.


Japanesse Automaker claimed that will offer two entri level, there are Lexus GS 250 2.5-liter V6 for Europe. Also offer Lexus GS 450h full-hybrid version, whereas in the US the line-up will include the GS 350 and the GS 450h. Special for South America, Lexus GS 350 is motivated by a 3.5-liter V6 generating 306-horsepower and 277-pound-feet of torque, enough to propel the premium sedan from 0 to 60mph (96km/h) in 5.7 seconds and on to a top speed of 142mph (228 km/h). Acceleration from 30 to 50 mph takes 3.0 seconds. The V6 engine is linked to a six-speed sequential shift automatic transmission with paddle shifters and sport driving functions as standard equipment.
